Importing food products from Romania to Germany: customs requirements and labeling

I want to import traditional Romanian food products (dairy, cured meats) to sell in Germany. Since both are EU countries, is there real customs paperwork? What are the labeling requirements in German, traceability requirements, and food safety certifications needed for retail?
